1965 Today

The exhibition celebrates the opening of the Israel Museum in 1965.
The Art exhibition shows on very light grids a succession of Israeli Art works from the year 1965, in alphabetical order, like in the storages of the museum. On the walls, three light boxes show black and white pictures and movies of events and works that took place the same year abroad.
A projection room shows home movies in front of what used to be projected in movie theaters once a week.
A third space, at the entrance, is dedicated to design and surroundings from the same year, putting in situation furnitures and daily objects inside huge three-dimensional frames.
